Project Shelion: Prize Awarding!

Project Shelion, a collaborative GR/DE Project funded under the European Regional Development Fund and National Funds in the framework of the German-Greek Bilateral R&D Cooperation Initiative (2013-2015), received one of the three, equal, prizes for the "best Innovative Projects" among 23 highly competitive research projects. The award ceremony took place during the "Greek–German Days on Research, Innovation and Young Scientists" organized on December, 9th & 10th, 2015 at the National Research Centre Venue in Athens, Greece, The event was organized by the Greek Ministry of Education, Research and Religious Affairs and the Federal Ministry of Education and Research in Germany.
Filippos Farmakis, Assistant Professor, Scientific Coordinator for the GR part of the Project and Petros Selinis, MSc student of MNT LAB@ Duth along with their colleges from the Fraunhofer ICT, Dr Hagen Markus and Fanz Patrik presented the work done and the results achieved.
