Micro- and Nano-Technology Laboratory

The Micro- and Nano-Technology Laboratory (MNTLab or MNTL@DUTH) is a part of the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department of Democritus University of Thrace, situated in Xanthi, Greece.

MNTLab was founded in 1977 and ever since it has been committed to providing innovative solutions through extensive research in our laboratory.

Our research and teaching focus on three challenging intersections of Nanoscience: thin film technology, energy storage technology and microsensors technology.

Lab and Equipment

MNTLab, situated at Vas. Sofias 12, Xanthi, Greece within the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department of Democritus University of Thrace, is a state-of-the-art facility spreading over 240 m².

It includes spacious office areas and a specialized lab featuring a 45m² clean room (class 1,000-10,000), tailored for advanced research and educational purposes.
