Networking - Participation In Broader Collaboration Schemes

MNTL@ DUTH participates in INNOVATION-EL: Nanotechnology, Advanced Materials and Micro/Nanoelectronics.

Innovation-EL

INNOVATION-EL is an open-access National Research Infrastructure addressing the needs of nanoscale science, technology and engineering towards an innovative ecosystem that will contribute to smart, sustainable and inclusive growth in Greece and Europe. It aims at promoting world-class multidisciplinary Research and Innovation (R&I) as well as supporting technological breakthroughs in the selected Key Enabling Technologies (KETs) of Nanotechnology, Advanced Materials, Photonics and Micro-Nanoelectronics.

INNOVATION-EL, is one of the 20 Greek Research Infrastructures (RI) of Strategic Importance that has been included in the National Roadmap for Research Infrastructures, a comprehensive how-to approach of the National Strategy for Research, Technological Development and Innovation (2014-2020), which enables integration of the Greek research facilities within the European Research Area (ERA).

Nanonet - Research and Innovation Network

Nanonet

MNTL@ DUTH participates also in Nano|Net which is an initiative for the promotion of communication and collaboration between research and business organizations activated in the fields of Nano-Bio-Technologies. Its' main purpose is to reinforce and promote Nanotechnologies in Greece, Europe and Worldwide, through an interscientific approach. Nano|Net started in 2003 from Nanotechnology Lab LTFN - AUTh, counting more than 400 individual members (~900 cluster members) worldwide (including University Labs, Research Institutes, Companies, Hospitals etc.).

Nano|Net is an International Network with multidisciplinary and polythematic role, aiming to merge the existing expertise and knowledge between the rapidly growing fileds of Nanotechnologies and NanoBiotechnologies.
